This installation explores the limitations of language and history using ritual and repetition. Every day, for 3 hours a day, over 3 weeks, I wrote the words I have my work cut out for me over loose book pages and tossed them to the floor.

As with other writing performances, the work questioned the authority of the printed word using the handwriting - normally a marker of individuality. But the task was futile, as the handwritten words were reduced to an abstraction.
